We utilize private capital to build and manage our real estate portfolio. We are backed by Latin American entrepreneurs, who demand low-risk investment opportunities. For years, investors from this region were prime clients for Swiss private banking and placed large sums of money in low risk- low return alternatives. Investments in the US real estate markets offer Latin American private investors an attractive opportunity. Given that most Latin American HNWIs (high-net-worth-individuals) are entrepreneurs that assume a great deal of risk at their primary source of wealth, they seek low-risk investments to place expatriated funds.

Yet risk is a function of uncertainty (lack of information). In underdeveloped economies, real estate is a widely utilized asset class given that their capital markets are thin. Therefore Latin American HNWIs are familiar with real estate investing and they understand the asset class well.

US-Based real estate provides our investors with a dollar-based asset that is inflation protected, has low equity-market correlation and generates strong cash flows. In addition, multi-family properties enjoy an atomized income source, low fluctuation in demand levels and more predictable market trends, which translates into lower comparative risk levels relative to other real estate sub-classes.
